Pala Casino Spa & Resort

Beautiful resort, clean & modern accommodations. Several pools & Cabanas lounges & flat screen tvs everywhere. I Left some hair appliances in room and notified them upon returning home of my missing items.
A few days later they were delivered to my home which is out of State to my surprise.
That is what I would call Terrific Customer Service.

Came for a mini getaway with my Godson! First time ever going to Pala, so I didn't know what to expect.
The first thing was that the valet was closed on Wednesday before 5p.m. Not to sure way, was just giving the answer "It just is!" Considering I wear oxygen 24 hours, that walk from the parking area pulling my 02tank, I was not too happy about. Good thing the bellman helped with our bags and my oxygen concentrator machine out of the truck before I parked.
Secondly, the woman at the front desk must have been preoccupied because somehow she was able to charge me for a room that was already pre paid for. As soon as I noticed, I bought it to attention, and I'm currently waiting on a total refund from the second charge.
The room was very spacious. Enough room so I and a 7 year old can have his space to relax and regroup before school starts. And enough for me to relax and watch. The only issue with the room I had was the fact it was a mountain view room, but the main view was of a huge parking area. Maybe before that was built, you could see the mountain. But if you look to your left of the parking garage you can see the mountain perking though. Which is a little ironic. It's like it is a mountain view but slightly. So if you get room 457, you will not have much of a mountain view
Lastly, the deep soak tub was the main must on my list. And we both enjoyed that. The beds were very comfortable. And the black out curtains are great.
All in all, the tub and bed made up for the other issues! Hopefully I'll receive my refund soon. Would I come back yes. I'd definitely be more cautious at check in, and room location.

Front desk Kipo are very unfriendly
We came here with five rooms of people when I want to take my goddaughter in to my room to change our clothes for exercising activities. The lady wouldn't let us get in.
And asked me to force my friend to come in together with me she has to be present, even if she is a highroller playing her games !
The lady insist that she has to quit her game and come to the front desk to register my friend to get into the room for changing only 10 minutes !
This is how stubborn arrogant unfriendly it could be!
Consider they are having authority
And you are only Chinese nothing important to them !!

The machine took $20 and "Julia" the employee came up to restart the machine. I asked if there was a time estimate and she got very aggressive and said she's working in it right now with a very rude tone. She kept trying to butt into my conversation with my family.

When I asked if they could look at the security footage, she refused and then told me there was no $20 in the machine. Multiple people saw me deposit the cash in the machine. She kept asking if I was sure it was $20 and was very rude about it. This experience was worth no amount of money. I hope whatever if bothering you Julia, gets better. Try not to take it out on other people. Never coming back here.

They should consider signage indicating where the parking structure is. I had to ask someone who worked there which way to exit to parking. Lots of signs for restaurants and restrooms, but no way to find the way out.

Now how about changing the mix. Make a small area for smokers and a larger area for non-smoking. Really, just walking through the smoking area, when I got home all the clothes got thrown into the laundry hamper to wash and get the smoke out of them. I don't understand the attraction of catering to smokers. I was there for a music act. The event center is nice. Non-smoking. Reserved seating. Good views.

Burger and fries at the sports bar was a good deal.

Slots were tight. So it goes. I hate the smell of cigarette smoke and the non-smoking area is too small for my tastes. Anyway, I have to walk through smoke to get to the non-smoking area.

I was in Pala for an event and this hotel was 2 miles away. My valet parking guy was super nice. When I checked out the next day, he remembered my name and had my car already parked out front! My room was large and beautifully decorated. The bathroom had a really big soaking tub, which I took full advantage of. Fidel, my server at Bar Meets Grill, was an absolute attentive delight. He even gave me a sample of the lobster bisque. So happy he did that. No likey. The front desk ladies at checkout were kind, friendly and fun. All and all, a nice stay. My only complaint was the smoky casino. That was awful. There is a non smoking area, but it's in the middle of the casino, so.......

Stopped by for a quick gambling spree. Apparently, luck was not in my favor that day and I left with a little (lot) less than what I came in with.

THE VIBE EVOCATION.

It's a quaint casino; homey, if you will. Geometric patterns decorate the space with bright colored lighting and contrasting furnishings of neutral/vibrant tones. There are restaurants grouped in a food court area and an outdoor patio to enjoy the view of surrounding hills. I like the casino layout; it's easy to walk through without confusing twists and turns.

THE PARKING AFFAIR.

Free parking in the parking structure and throughout the grounds. I prefer the parking structure for shade. Take the elevator down and it's a straight shot into the casino.

THE RETURN QUANDARY.

Been going here for years and I always enjoy the experience, so yep, I'd come back.

Went to Elementa Restaurant this evening. Way over priced. Extremely small portions. Limited menu. Food was nothing special for the ridiculous prices.
Definitely will not be returning.

I went there to check it out and gamble a little bit . Was playing the roulette and the ball literally stopped rolling ,some powerful magnet stopped it mid roll then it went in a chosen number . It's totally fixed cheating . Then walked over to the tables to play roulette and instead of just betting on black or red they now have a white slot if it lands there you deal with the dealer playing a card option . So instead of a 50/50 chance it's now a 33%
Chance of Winning. I don't think I'll return gambling again not much winning going on .

The Front Desk of the hotel has a female employee that is rude, condescending, and racist. On two separate occasions she treated my family with said attitude.
She has the fakest smile while she rudely tells you we are in the wrong.
we've been coming here for over 15 years, but will never stay in the hotel again.
She made my mother cry. Ruined our stay.
I spoke to the manager and of course they offer nothing.
Pala is a shitshow. Don't stay there esp if you're Asian.
