Michael Yokoyama, DDS

We were referred to Dr. Yokoyama by Dr. Davis' team for some unusual raised gums behind the right lateral incisor on our 11 month old. Even though we were unofficial patients of Dr. Yokoyama, he welcomed my photos and was extremely responsive and informative. He was so reassuring in our communications, and spared us a surgery. He gave us an alternative option, he was confident it would work, and it did!! After vigorous brushing for about a month, the tissue went away!! Our pediatrician was stunned as were we. I cannot speak more highly of him, just even for his willingness and drive to help and provide his expertise to others. Thank you Dr. Yokoyama! If you go to him, you will be in the best hands!

I have been dealing with gum, jaw and facial pain issues and have been to so many dentists, endodontists, general practices, etc. I even had few roots canal procedures and a tooth extraction in the process of finding a relief for over 10 years! None of these doctors or places that I have been to ever take their time, patience and have the knowledge to explain to me why I am still experiencing excruciating pain daily after all these procedures until I saw Doctor Kanika Bembey today at Michael Yokoyama's office. She was calm, knowledgeable and patiently explaining everything that is going on with me. She gently exam my mouth, teeth and gum as I am in so much pain. She wasn't able to fix my pain because it wasn't related to a gum issue per my dentist (which I need to write a long/bad review for). But, she referred me to someone that she thinks would be able to help me with all these excruciating pains that I am strugglingly with for years!! She believed and listened to everything I told me, and she was able to explain to me why all these procedures didn't relief these pains because these professionals treated wrong things all these years...Arrrgh! Everything she explained to me makes sense, she gave me hope that I lost! So, I am writing this review to "Thank You" Doctor Kanika Bembey for the stellar work that she did for me today from the bottom of my heart!! I finally found a doctor that is willing to listen and be able to provide a care plan instead of rushing me out of their office and told me they have no idea why I am still experiencing pain! If you want a warm, caring and knowledge peridontist, please go see Doctor Kanika at Michael Yokoyama's office!

Dr Michael Yokoyama is an excellent Periodontist. He has a fantastic bedside manner. I had extensive oral surgery with little to no discomfort or side effects.
I highly recommend Dr. Yokoyama to anyone who needs a Periodontist.

Dr Y has done an excellent job with all my various periodontal issues and implants. I have been to implant specialists, root canal specialists, and several dentists and his skills are above all others. I like his staff and Aloha spirit as well.

I always have a positive experience and feel well taken care of. I had to have a few dental graphs and during the surgery I had no doubt that I was in good hands. Later that night Dr. Yokoyama called me to check up on me and see if I have any questions and to remind me again of post-surgery care. If I had any post questions or worries he would quickly add me into his busy schedule to do a post-surgery check up. The staff and atmosphere was professional and calming.

I can't say enough about Dr. Yokoyama and his staff. They are friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. They completed my procedure quickly and efficiently. Dr. Yokoyama followed up with me personally that evening with a phone call to check on my condition. The office is relaxing; no stress no TV's just calming music playing in the background. If you ever find yourself in need of periodontal work, there is no better team.

I recently visited Dr. Yokoyama to have my night guard remade. He came highly recommended by my friend and neighbor who is also a dentist. I was a dental hygienist for 20 years 15 years ago, so I have spent my life around dentists.

Dr. Yokoyama and his staff are super warm and friendly but mostly knowledgeable. I've had several health issues over the years and no one could actually pinpoint why it was happening. Not only did Dr. Yokoyama tie it all together but 2 days later he did corrective surgery to repair a problem I've had since I was little. He was very professional, kind and compassionate and has called several times to check in with me.

Dr yokoyama is one of the best orthodontic i have seen. Very professional kind helpful to his all patients, highly recommend, his office staff are excellent very nice you feel so comfortable with them. Usually we get nervous to go to dr office but in this place feel so comfortable best hygienist excellent dr and very helpful office staff. Every time i feel happy and appreciate to go to this place please go and try to see dr yokoyama his best work and good princess u will be his patients firever like me i drive 45 to 50 minutes to visit this office.
